The Mason-Dixon 500 The 15th edition of the Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer returned to the south, starting in Elkins, WV. Over the course of 6 days we rode up to Morgantown, WV, and along the Mason-Dixon line with stops in Cumberland & Hagerstown, MD and Hanover, PA. Then we headed north to Annville and finally Palmerton, PA. Over the 513 miles of roads there was some rain, a lot of hills (34,490' of total climbing), and a tremendous spirit in the group. And together we raised $187,000 to support the American Cancer Society and Dream Come True.. To see some photos from the ride, visit our Flickr set. To get a sense of the severity of the ride, take a look through Nate Freed's GPS stats on Strava.com. He captured each day on his GPS and you can see the mileage, elevation gains, and more. Do note that Nate is a Cat 1 racer for Marc-Pro Strava and thus goes a lot faster than most of the PPRAC riders. 2011 PPRAC Route
